What Is Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
CISSP is one of the most prestigious certificates for information security management at a corporate level. It certifies in-depth technical and managerial skills, knowledge and experience in the design, development, implementation and management of a comprehensive information security program to protect the organization from growing complexity of attacks.
CISSP is independent from a specific manufacturer and it is the first certificate in the field of information security, which manages to meet the requirements of ISO / IEC Standard 17024.
Audience
The CISSP training is aimed at experienced information security professionals, including: auditors, consultants, information security managers, IT directors, security analysts, architects and engineers, network architects.
Requirements for participation:
Training participants need to have significant practical experience in IT and information security. It is recommended that they have at least one of the following certificates or related knowledge: Network +, Security +, MCSE, MCTS, SCNP, CCNP, RHCE, LCE, CNE, SSCP®, GIAC, CISA™, or CISM®. At least 5 years of professional experience in 2 or more of the 8 domains are required to take the certification exam.
